After Denali we headed back to where our Alaska trip began in Anchorage. Here we have back the car we had been driving around in and stayed one more night. The next day we boarded a train to Seward to catch our cruise.
The train was an amazing way to see Alaska. Even though it was early, 6:45 departure time, we were all excited for this new experience. After getting to our seats and beginning the journey we went downstairs for breakfast with a view. During breakfast we saw Dall Sheep on the hills, gorgeous bay views, and the light clouds in the sky only I handed the scenery.
After breakfast we had fun talking with fellow travelers, watching for wildlife, and listening to information about the area. It was completely relaxing and the best day of travel of our trip.
After the train we boarded our cruise ship for 7 days of adventure along the Alaska coastline. After all the moving around it was great to have one resting place for the next week.
